Every story on Popcorn FM is created from scratch in Tamil by celebrated writers and talented voice artists; nothing here is dubbed or repurposed. We focus on cultural authenticity and deliver a true “movie-for-your-ears” experience.

You’ll find a variety of genres, including suspense, family drama, romance, thriller, horror, fantasy, and more. New stories and genres are added regularly, so there’s something for everyone. Stay Tuned!

No subscription needed! Popcorn FM allows you a few free episodes. To unlock further episodes, you can buy “corns,” our in-app wallet credits. Just pay for what you love—starting at just ₹9—using UPI for seamless and secure transactions.

You can buy corns easily through UPI, and also earn them via rewards for regular listening, completing series, referrals, and more. You can also unlock an episode by watching ads.

Our stories are written and voiced by India’s leading Tamil storytellers, voice actors, and sound designers. We mention the artist for each story in our app. You can even follow your favorite creators within our app and social media, building a community around amazing audio content.

Popcorn FM is available on mobile devices and starts with authentic Tamil stories. We’ll soon be expanding to other regional languages—including Telugu, Bengali, and Marathi!
